There is no secret to why he is the World number one since December 2013. After making an impressive debut at the 2012 London Olympics where he won team Gold, he had one success after another. One year after the Olympics Scott won team Gold and individual bronze at the European Championships with his Olympic Partner Hello Sanctos. He then went double clear at the Nations Cup final in Barcelona with his mare Ursula, won the LGCT Final in Doha and then again the Grand Prix in Oslo with Sanctos. At the Gucci Paris Masters, Scott went on winning the Speed Challenge and the Battle of Sexes with Bon Ami and then almost won the Sunday Grand Prix if Kevin Staut hadn’t been faster. Third in the World Cup final he won three LGCT Grand Prix. Very laid-back and down to earth, Scott doesn’t get bigheaded by his incredible success. Although it seems as he has already won everything Scott says he is still hungry for success and after a disappointing WEG in Normandy 2014 he for sure is not going to stop anytime soon.
