Masters’ riders (5*)

Martin Fuchs hails from a famous Swiss riding family.  

His mother Renata was a Swiss show jumping champion and his father Thomas also competed in top level competition.

Martin started riding at the age of six and at the age of 14 won his first major event in Istanbul where he became the European show jumping vice champion in the “children’s” category. During the next two years after that he won a bronze medal at the European junior championships and in 2010 claimed team gold at the Youth Olympic Games in Singapore. That same year he entered the world rankings of the International Riding Federation in 108th place and swiftly moved into the top 100 only months later.

Last year Martin was a member of the Swiss gold medal winning team at the FEI European Jumping Championships for young riders.
