The opening competition of the third edition of the Longines Hong Kong Masters is presented by the HKJC, celebrating its 130th anniversary.
In this competition accumulator with joker, the riders accumulate points for each fence cleared. The set course is constructed with an increase level of difficulty with the most difficult obstacle, the joker, an optionnal fence for which rider can either win or loose 20 points.
Points over the course are calcultaed as follow : fence number 1 : 1 point, fence number 2 : 2 points, etc. In the case of an equality of points, timing will determine the winner of this original competition format.
HKJC Trophy 2014’s winners were Harrie Smolders (NED) and Regina Z.
