On the last day of competition, Houtzager won the Prix Massimo Dutti in a time of 53.90 sec on his 13-year-old gelding Sterrehof’s Uppity with countryman Maikel Van der Vleuten finishing runner-up with VDL Groep Eureka (54.41 sec).
Roger-Yves Bost was third placed on Castle Forbes Cosma (54.65 sec).
The Netherlands were also successful in last night’s main event - the Hong Kong Jockey Trophy with Harrie Smolders beating a star studded line-up.
