Harrie Smolders is an up and coming rider who had two loves: horses and football. Shortly after finishing school Harrie went to work for former European Champion Johan Heins where he learnt the skill of training young and talented horses. One of those horses was Authentic which was sold to American rider Beezie Madden and was her Olympic gold winning mount in 2004 and 2008. A dedicated, all-round horseman, Harrie now has a formidable team of horses including Regina Z and Exquis Walnut de Muze and is one of the FEI’s top ranked riders.
